Senior Assistant Professor Ken Aoo delivers a lecture on Okayama University's efforts to help achieve SDGs at the general meeting of Eco-partnership Okayama

7585_image_1.jpgOn May 28, Senior Assistant Professor Ken Aoo, Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering in Health Systems delivered a lecture on Okayama University's efforts to help achieve SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) at the FY 2018 general meeting of Eco-partnership Okayama--an organization dedicated to environmental conservation comprising 77 public and private entities based in Okayama Prefecture--at Purity Makibi.

The title of the lecture delivered by Senior Assistant Professor Aoo, a member of Okayama University's SDGs Promotion Planning Council was "Okayama University's Contribution to SDGs: Harmonious Partnership and Okayama University's Efforts." In his lecture, he explained the philosophy and history of SDGs, the University's activities to help achieve SDGs, and "STI for SDGs"--an initiative to achieve SDGs using STI (Science, Technology and Innovation)--citing specific cases in Okayama Prefecture.
